Saqbol 1.0.8

Developed by National Information Technologies JSC under the initiative of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Saqbol application has been developed with the aim of controlling the spread of coronavirus infection and timely localizing infection centers. This application enables anonymous tracking of contacts with other devices that also have the Saqbol app installed, and encrypted records of interactions with these devices are stored.

To use the app, you need to install Saqbol on your smartphone, activate Bluetooth, and keep your phone with you at all times. Your smartphone will transmit encrypted identifiers via Bluetooth. Each identifier checksum is automatically deleted from your device two weeks after creation.

The app does not send any personal or location data to a central storage or server. This means that no one can access information about your contacts or where those contacts took place.

If a Saqbol user tests positive for coronavirus, they can activate the notification function in the app. This will alert other app users who have been in close contact (within two meters) with the infected individual for more than 15 minutes during the past 14 days.

Once a notification is activated, it is automatically and anonymously delivered to other app users.

Users who receive a notification can find recommendations from the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding further actions in the app.

Please note that this application is only available for use within the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
